Sandler & Young were
fabulously popular for the unique style and sound they brought to every song
they sang. Their performances and recordings covered most music genres –
standards, popular, traditional, sacred, hits from Broadway and movies. At
last, in the early 1970s they accepted an invitation to Nashville to put some
Country down on vinyl. Here in the heart of Country, Tony and Ralph were
whisked into a studio stocked with top-hit charts, several pots of coffee, and
a best-craft-in-town orchestra, and were left to have some fun. The result was their
original vinyl album, “Go Country” (Ralton). This album was recently digitized
by The Tony Sandler LEGACY SERIES TM project, and is now released as
“Sandler & Young – Giant County Hits”.
